EmpowerCanvas: Cultivating Resilience in At-Risk Youth through Art and Mindfulness

“EmpowerCanvas” aims to establish a supportive and inclusive framework designed to uplift at-risk youth navigating socio-economic and cultural challenges.

Objective

To foster engagement among at-risk youth through mindful art activities and mindfulness resources, promoting emotional well-being and resilience for personal and professional development.
To collaborate with at-risk youth centers and community organizations to host participatory visits, conduct workshops, and reach a diverse audience of at-risk youth.
To conceptualize and create a resilience-building board game that integrates art activities and mindfulness practices.
To develop an online platform providing youth workers with tools and resources to build resilience in at-risk youth through art and mindfulness.
To organize participatory visits in Portugal to gain insights and enhance engagement.
To conduct three workshops aimed at training youth workers on effectively utilizing the platform and board game.
