On 11th July 2025, we gathered in the beautiful open gardens of Erlangen, Germany, for a very special workshop designed to build resilience, encourage honest conversation, and foster emotional awareness among young people. The event brought together sixteen participants from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds, all united by a willingness to share, listen, and connect.
The afternoon began with a picnic, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone could relax and get to know each other. This was followed by our signature Resilience Board Game — an interactive tool that helps participants explore personal experiences, strengths, and emotions through thought-provoking prompts.
What made this session unique was how quickly the group opened up. Many participants commented that the conversations went far deeper than their usual day-to-day exchanges, allowing them to talk about feelings, challenges, and personal growth in a safe and supportive space. The feedback confirmed that the workshop not only improved communication skills but also helped participants feel more connected and less isolated.
For us, the most powerful outcome was watching strangers become allies in resilience, offering understanding, encouragement, and respect to each other. It’s proof that, given the right environment, people can break through cultural and personal barriers to talk about what really matters.
