Highlights e.V. proudly participated as a partner in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Time to Start”, a dynamic international project that united young people from Spain, Armenia, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, and Georgia.

Hosted in Lalvar, Armenia (12–22 May 2025), the exchange gathered 38 participants to explore how entrepreneurship can become a driving force for sustainability, social responsibility, and personal empowerment.

Through interactive workshops, discussions, and creative teamwork, participants learned how to develop eco-friendly business ideas, strengthen their communication and leadership skills, and build meaningful intercultural connections. The project encouraged young adults to see themselves as changemakers capable of shaping a more sustainable and inclusive future.

The project was implemented through a strong international partnership coordinated by Sonríe a Europa (Spain), together with Highlights e.V. (Germany), 01 21 APS (Italy), Change for Development (Armenia), Youth Center of Georgia, and Mladezhda (Bulgaria). Each partner brought its own expertise — from non-formal education and youth empowerment to sustainability and entrepreneurship — ensuring a rich and diverse learning experience for all participants.

By combining entrepreneurial learning with environmental awareness, Time to Start offered participants the tools to transform ideas into real actions — fostering a culture of innovation, respect, and environmental protection across Europe.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment at Highlights e.V. to support youth empowerment, cross-cultural cooperation, and the promotion of sustainable development through non-formal education.
